Turns Out You’re Not a Total Moron…

Have you ever had a train of thought so clairvoyant you convinced yourself you’re a genius? The human brain is capable of amazing things and is comparable to the super-computer of the future. Our inability is in tapping into the real power of our brains.

I’ve noticed that right before I lay down to sleep, I’m forced to think about my daily conflicts and my brain kicks into problem solving overdrive. I find I am able to pursue a train of thought that if I only wish I could access in my everyday life.

At a younger age I figured this to be a curse–the process of getting to bed was always longer and more complicated than I would have liked. But I’ve soon realized this time to be my ultimate gift. Now, I take my hardest problems to bed and keep a notepad close by for that epiphaneous moment when I crack life’s secrets.

My question is: have you found the conditions underwhich your brain operates optimally?

No matter what the answer, there is good news.

Haven’t figured it out yet? Don’t sweat it. Think about this: you’re smarter than you think. You haven’t used your brain to its fullest extinct this far.

That is mind-blowing. I know this sounds like something a guy would say while extraordinarily high (c’mon, I’m Canadian) but just imagine that most people out there haven’t tapped into the true power of their brain.

If you have realized those perfect conditions, then you need to start making the best of your time. Take those really tough problems you just can’t figure out and try to break them down.

I find my brain works especially well in areas of reasoning and problem solving when I’m trying to sleep. The real question is, does this depend from person to person or is this standard?
